About Us
WOWhunger is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation designed to efficiently raise,  process, and consolidate small contributions and distribute funds for alleviating world hunger. The vision for this Charity came while reading "The Hole in our Gospel" by Richard Stearns.   If the 200 million plus persons in the U.S., who claim the name of Jesus, cooperated with a small gift we could have a staggering impact on the World.

What makes us unique?
Small Contributions - We are requesting a gift of $1.00 per person once each year.  If only one percent of the population of North America contributed, we would raise $5,000,000 per year.  Not everyone can afford to give $100, $50 or even $10; but every person viewing this site has the ability to give $1 and make a difference.

Low Overhead - There are no paid employees.  Every worker is a volunteer and all incorporation expenses have been paid by our Board members.  The corporation has no debt.
Cooperation -  Funds will be distributed to other non profit organizations. By distributing funds through other non profit organizations,  we are not forced to develop our own expensive distribution channels. For example we might designate funds through World Vision to purchase chickens, goats or livestock for a village in an undeveloped country; or fund the digging of a water well by a denominational group; or provide emergency food through Feed the Children.















WOWhunger is not asking you to redirect your contributions - If you are contributing larger amounts toward world hunger relief through another organization, please continue.  But, we encourage you to increase your giving by $1.00.
